My friend has invited all 8 of my bestfriends up north for the weekend. This is my last year with them before highschool. I really don't know another time where we'd all be able to go up north all together. That same weekend is my piano recital. It would be my first improvisation concert and a famous composer I'll be able to meet there. This is my last year of piano because my parents cant afford to pay for another year (I've been playing for five years) I dont know what to decide. I think I would have more fun with my friends but an improvisation concert sounds like such a cool oppurtunity

Honestly, go with your friends. I cherish every memory I have of being with friends. You'll be sad after if you don't go, in two years your parents may be able to afford piano lessons again BUT in two years you won't be able to get everybody together.
Honestly, you should go with your friends, I mean, playing the piano is fun but once you learn it all it'll probably become boring, but the memories you make with you friends will last a lifetime and can smile at the memories when your looking back in 20 years, exspecialy if its your last chance to be with them all together.
Oh, wow, this is tough. I would say make a list of reasons why each one is a good oppurtunity. Any reasons that are the same don't count. I love the piano also, so I understand....like I said this is tough, and it really has to be your deciscion. No one else can choose for you.
Is there anyway that you can do both? If not, do the piano recital. You can face time your friends and talk to them. Also, after High School, you can always meet up.
Okay. Its kinda hard for you to decide. And its also hard for me to decide. hehehe.
Well, just do what makes you happy. And God, will sure guide you and help you what to select. :) good luck !
