Pionus or Senegal Parrot?
Which to get? There's a Senegal that I will be meeting tomorrow. This Senegal can talk and do tricks. The Senegal's rehoming fee is $400. There's a Maxi Pionus baby that will be $580 after shipping.
I would like a quiet bird, that will be okay sitting on a perch while I work. I do think a talking bird would be entertaining though.

The pionus is larger but less demanding. Senegals will probably be more cuddly, more playful, talk better, be louder (though not that loud for a parrot, and demand more attention.)
