I would personally prefer Pokemon since there's more of a storyline to it. There are more things to do in Pokemon. It also gives you a challenge. If you don't have a dog, want a dog, or want to learn how to take care of a dog, Nintendogs is the game for you.
properly, I definitely have diamond and Nintendogs Douchound version . i could say diamond or pearl. right this is why: collectively as nintendogs is exciting for awhile, it gets repetitive. Now, that's exciting to go into canines in contests and such, yet i've got faith Diamond has lots extra replay value. you could strengthen many extra pokemon on diamond or pearl than canines on nintendogs. There additionally are many extra issues to discover and do in pokemon diamond/ pearl. So, i could say get diamond or pearl, and in case you could later, get nintendogs.
