Was getting about 19 combined driving now about 15. I installed an aftermarket air filter setup that advertised an improvement. Have reinstalled the stock unit and still about the same. What gives?
Update:No check engine lights are on. O2 sensors changed at 45000 (current mileage is 64000) There is a sensor at the air intake that I havent id'ed .. Could that be damaged from the installation of the aftermarket intake?

till now you sell, call the corporation that financed the loan on your Trailblazer and ask them for a pay-out volume (how plenty it may value precise now to pay the loan off one hundred%). Then examine your community newspapers or your community motor vehicle revenues magazines like motor vehicle dealer or Tradin' cases and notice what the asking cost is on a 2004 Trailblazer. If curiously such as you are going to lose money on the deal, carry off for no less than yet another twelve months. interior the interim, see in case you could keep money on gas via carpooling, using public transportation, something.
check engine light would tell you of any problems......spark plugs good to 100,000 miles. warming up too long in the morning, extended idling? it's winter so i would have tires set at 35psi (cold). try coasting up to traffic light, instead of quick stops...and ease off at start.hope this might help.....do you have extended warranty.call dealer for any recalls or updates relate to fuel economy.....oh yeah, use a quality fuel(name brand, but stay with 87 octane, next grade up wont help mpg....good luck
Have you given your suv a complete tune-up in a while??
