I really like hedgehogs but I heard porcipines don't smell..... I really need some answers =)
Please include a rating of how bad they smell and what there diet is =)

I recommend a hedgehog. Porcupines have barbed quills... not a good pet. Hedgehogs really do not smell if their cage is clean. Hedgehogs eat cat food and mealworms or crickets. As a treat they like fruits, veggies, cooked meat, and cooked eggs.Only use aspen bedding (pine and cedar are unhealthy). Hope this helps...
Porcupines are native wildlife and you need a special permit to have one. They don't grant you one unless you are a wildlife rehabber.
hedgehogs are safer, easier to obtain, and not to mention cuter.
