I'm planning to make pasteles with my mother soon and we've made pasteles before but only with the traditional pork filling. I do know chicken is a common substitute but I want to try something other than chicken, pork, or ground beef.
Any ideas for a filling or possibly some way to spice up the three I mentioned?
