put videos on an camera?
ok. ive been messing around with my camera and come to find out i can make a picture in ms paint and put it on my sd card and then view it on my camera screen. i want to know if i can do this with video as well. my camera records in avi if that helps.

your camera is a very simplified version of a computer. it can only handle certain file types and formats. asking it to read a file that it did not create may cause it to crash, hard. the only safe way to put a video back into the camera is to use the software provided with the camera. it will check for file compatibility first to protect the camera. so far you have been lucky, but it might not always be such a fortunate outcome.
