Looks like you're comparing the A6 and the A8. This is super easy, get the A8 (or preferably, the A10). The quad can clock itself a bit higher anyway, particularly if only one or two cores are being hit.
For photoshop, rendering, and games, the A8 will almost always be faster.
The A8 has more GPU cores too-256 vs. 192 on the A6. (The A10 has 382.)
You don't say what type of CPU is, but in general the quad core is likely newer and more efficient.
