Racial discrimination?
It is often said that anti-racial discrimination is aimed at building a harmonious multi-cultural society. However,after the infamous Big Brother saga, it seems that it shuts up everybody's mouth because I honestly dont know whether I say you have a black hair, black eye or you way of living will insult you. I understand some race called us "white ghost" "lazy beebee" and every races have their own set of insulting words on others but we dont know because most of them are not in English. To be honest, I dont mind being called ghost of whatever. They are just "words" . Dont be serious, dont be silly, dont build up racial tension? What do you think?

I think everyone should learn to accept each and every person they come across. I don't really understand why people have a problem with those of different races or religions, WE'RE ALL THE SAME ON THE INSIDE! I really just don't get the whole racism thing full stop there's just no need, there are starving children out there for pittys sake.... if those racists out there put there energy into positive things the world would be a much better place. As for those who want to hurt and even kill those of different backgrounds I have just one question.....WHY??
This must be England slang for the races. I've never heard them. But racial slurs are never appropriate. The main reason? People can't change that about themselves, therefore if you denigrate another's race it is telling them they are no good as a person. You are talking about somehting that is inherently part of who they are. Now if you say I have on last year's fashions, or my hairdo is ugly, it owuld be a little mean but not devastating. I can change those things or keep them if I prefer. Racial discrimination implies not only the ugly words but also actions that serve to inhibit an individuals place in society. You cant go more wrong than that.
Furthermore, your examples of racist language (I dont know about saying yiou have black hair and eyes, or criticising your way of living). First of all who would be upset about your pointing out their hair or eye color. However, criticising someone's way of living means you are probably generalizing about a population you know little about (in terms of their "way of living"). You are probably perpetuating racst stereotypes by mentioning what you consider to be a persons "way of living" based on their race. No, no, no, no, no.

From my observation, it's only unacceptable to be racist against African-Americans, because they are the ones with the shortest fuses.
