we have a whirlpool refridgerator and it is not cooling right. the freezer is fine, and the fan is working. just the refridgerator isnt working to standards. can anyone think of anything that might be wrong and a way to fix it?

In many cases there's a vent between the freezer section and the refrigerator section. If this vent has been blocked by food it would prevent proper cooling in the fridge part. The block could be in either the freezer or fridge section.
Unplug the refrigerator for extra or less 20-30 minutes then plug it back in. The condenser probable iced over up from the door being opened. I actual have had this subject previously nad unplugging it for a jointly as labored advantageous. wish this helps.
Could be a low freon level. There may be enough to keep the freezer cool, but the refrigerator isn't getting enough to keep it cool.
