I've got chest-length naturally rather dry wavy hair (has not been chemically treated with dyes etc) which I always straighten with my GHD, but I want the option to curl my hair as it starts getting a bit greasy a couple of days after straightening. So, rather than just washing again and spending an aeon straightening again, my plan is to use dry shampoo in the roots and curl the rest.
I want the ability to do tighter ringlet curls, looser/voluminous beach curls, and medium natural curls. You get the idea, I hope. :)
Anyway, I am stuck between a Babyliss conical curling wand in the sizes 13-25 and/or 19-32, (was at first sure I wanted the 19-32,) or the Remington pearl conical 13-25 and/or the Remington pearl 32, (all with no clip/hinge, thankfully!)
Any help easing me in the direction of which is the better performing and better quality appliance would be VERY much appreciated! Which is better for my hair/better suited to what i want to use it for/better quality?
Thank you! xx

hi gladys
if you spend a long time straightening your hair you could always blowdry the night before downwards if you don't already which makes the hair overall straighter than if you leave to dry on its own. remember to use heat protector for any type of heated hair appliance even the blow-dryer, i wouldn't suggest dry shampoo it is a bit flaky and can look a bit nasty in my opinion, instead try using a good quality shampoo like bedhead and condition just the ends of your hair if it is too greasy looking, you can also curl with ghds for if you wanted to try that, i will leave a link below because they can look really nice. as for the tightness of curl you can just add in more hair and turn the straightener less to give a bigger more relaxed curl, see how you get on with the straighteners. as for the curler, i would personally suggest the remington pearl, remember though to wrap the hair completely around with the wands because otherwise you are left with short straight ends at the end of your curls, i think remington is a better quality brand than babyliss, in my experiences anyway
hope i helped xx
