rental neighbor question?
just curious as to what this means. i noticed a few weeks ago a neighbor in my complex was moving out in the middle of the night (after 10pm which i thought was odd). and today there is a "Recovery of Real Property Hearing Notice" on their door. I did notice today three maintenance men going in and out of the apartment one was on their cell phone (maybe calling the landlord).
Update:haha yes I am nosey actually it was posted right on the door I walk by everyday & I honestly have never been in that situation or have known anyone in that situation so I was curious as to what the heck it meant.

Neighbor could not pay and was getting sued. They knew it and they bolted. This of course simply means that they will lose the case by default when they don't show up. Then the person suing them can have their wages garnished to get the money.
Now aren't you nosey! Sounds like your neighbor couldn't pay their rent and got the hell out before the sheriff came. Smart neighbor. They probably found another place to live before this judgment hit their credit.
