replacing a laptop lcd.?
im replacing a laptops lcd screen but havent bought the replacement yet. i have a compaq presario V3000 and the screen i found for it seems like its compatible with 30+ hp laptops. do i only need a screen like it? or should i buy for the exact model? supposedly its a 14.1" WXGA Resolution= 1280x800.

as you have the compaq 3000 you should go in for a compatible lcd screen because on campaq laptops very few lcd's are compatible.
once done. you can check and then you will find that the lcd is giving proper lights on all the corners then it means that the lcd is good and make sure that there is no spots anywhere on the screen.
