Hi, have anyone gone to Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Mexico with Royal Caribbean? if so, did you like the beaches? I'm trying to decide between Carnival and Royal Caribbean, but I'm a beach person. I totally enjoy clear waters and a smooth ocean. I've gone with Carnival before but I haven't gone with Royal C. Is the itinerary good? I mean, according to beaches?

I WORK FOR CALEBRITY CRUISE LINES (10 YEARS COUNTING )...LABADEE BEACHES GREEAAT!!!
OCHO RIOS SUPERB !!! THE ADDED BONUS IN O.R IS THE DUNN'S RIVER FALLS (WATERFALLS)THATS THE BIGEST ATTRACTION...SO ENJOY THE BEACHES THERE AND DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE FALLS ...GRAND CAYMAN IS FAMOUS FOR SNORKELING(AND PETTING THE STINGRAYS).
SOME OF THE WORLDS BEST BEACHES ...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
I have been on Royal Caribbean to all these places. I have also cruised with Carnival and Royal Caribbean. I would definitely go Royal Caribbean. There are great beaches in all of those places if the weather is good. The day we were in Labadee the weather wasn't so good, but that can happen anywhere. I have also been on Princess and my favorite is still Royal Caribbean!!!
Also, I don't have anything to compare your Carnival cruise to because I don't know where you went before as far as your stops, but this is a good itinerary with RCCL as far as beach time because you only have two days at sea and four stops.
Try RCCl, I don't think you will regret it...
How old are you? The beaches from any of the cruises will be nice. However, an older group of folks go on RC while twenty-somethings go on Carnival. Try ibtraveling.com for good cruise rates, that's where I always get the best deals. I also perfer cruises without too many "at sea" days and would rather spend my days on the beach, snorkeling, therefore, cruises out of San Juan usually have less days at sea. fyi
Ocho's beach is NOT great. I've been to Jamaica 9 times and Negril has the best beach but that is too far to travel as cruise passengers.
Both cruise lines that you mentioned are Mass market cruises and are pretty similar except for the ship color schemes.
If you like Carnival, you will love Royal C. I have done this particular cruise you are going on and it is great
Royal Caribean is so much better!! I've gone with them three times.
