Royal Caribbean or Carnival?
I'm 18 and am planning a cruise. keep in mind my age while giving your advice, I don't want to to be on a ship full of old people and ruin their fun lol. I think I want to go on a southern cruise about April. Like to Barbados, Dominica, Virgin Islands. Probably deport from San Juan, PR.

You will not be able to find a ship unless it has on a bunch of old people. People travel with their mom and grandma. Take a Carnival Victory cruise from San Juan and go to Barbados, St Kitts, St Lucia, Antigua, St Maarten and St Thomas.
I'd recommend Carnival; but Royal Caribbean & NCL would be OK too.
I'd suggest you avoid Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, & Costa.
FWIW... consider wisely the cost (your budget) for a balcony cabin. This is your first cruise. You'll find that you're only in your cabin to sleep, shower, & change clothing. Most of the time you'll be on the upper decks, eating, in the casino, or off the ship while in port.
