Hi, I had a question regarding editing on Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 (64-bit).
I have no problem when editing with only one video track at a time, however, when I create any additional tracks that have a video overlapping times with another video, the playback (not just the pre-render, but also the post-render video) skips frames and it gets really choppy.
i.e. if I try to add multiple screens of video at the same time, all of the videos that I added start getting really choppy.
However, if I just have one video track at a time, it plays smooth and without problem.
I tried messing with the properties of the project itself, but it didn't seem to help. It's really frustrating, can someone help?
Thank you!

how old is your computer..... or how nice is it? it sounds like your computer just can't handle playback of 2 video files from a high powered program like Vegas 9, i use it and have no problems with that
I'd prefer using Sony Vegas, it's easy to use. Or you may try this video editor. I always use it to make and edit video for uploading to youtube. it's cool. And here is a guide regarding how to use it
