Okay, So this car is going to be Rear/4WD. It'll have two engines running separately, Both V8;
Whilst in 4WD: 1 will power the front wheels, and one will power the rear wheels, Giving more power.
Whilst in RWD: 1 will power the right wheel, 1 will power the left wheel, giving also.. more power.
The car wheels will spread wider once you go faster than 100 mp/h for safety, it will have a HUGE airbags on the outside of the ceiling which will be released once all 4 wheels lose pressure (Can be turned off).
It'll Generate DOUBLE the horsepower, So if you're talking about a SRT8 392 HP, It'll have 784 HP - 470 lb.-ft. will become ALMOST 1klb.-ft.
Or if you're talking about an SRT10 500, Imagine a 1k HP car. 525 lb-ft. will become about 1200 lb-ft. The torque is almost x1.7 or x2 if it has master engineering.
Brakes will release from the inside out creating unimaginably fast stop in about 3.4 seconds if in top speed, also the breaks will make a heavily armored rubber contact the brake's disk after 3 seconds of max. brake to make an almost-instant stop.
There will be an option while not moving that allows you with a push of a button to make the rear wheel drive run on 1 engine and the other engine will power a FIFTH wheel which will always be going the opposite way of where you drive (Front-Back) Which will lower when you push the brakes really hard and also stops when the vehicle is under 20 mp/h.
The car will have 2 front seats, 2 doors and small backseats.
Bad side:
It needs AMAZINGLY epic engineering to get the motors running on the same speed (Or a computer)
it will be a HUGE fuel drinker.
Questions are welcome, Please don't hate, just give a normal nice opinion.
Update:Double the weight -Just no.
Double the mechanical complexity -It's a superior sport car, it has to be complicated.
Double the cost -When was the last time you bought a cheap sport car? Thought so.
Imagine this in Nascar.

Sounds like something a 10 year old might dream up. There's a reason why cars like the one you're proposing are never actually build. Also having multiple engines isn't a big deal, tractor-pull tractors ofter have 4 engines that all power the rear wheels.
Edit:
"Double the weight -Just no."
Let's see, two engines. drivetrain compenents that have to be twice a durable, a larger fuel tank, two cooling systems, etc. It's going to be a very heavy car.
"Double the mechanical complexity -It's a superior sport car, it has to be complicated"
You are mistakenly thinking superior = complicated, first off the weight and mass of this thing is going to relegate to being a GT car. Not a sports car.
"Double the cost -When was the last time you bought a cheap sport car? Thought so."
The Miata is a legit sports car, the S2000 is a legit sports car, the BRZ/FRS is a legit sports car. Sports cars don't have to be six figure exotics. To suggest that one cannot get a cheap sports car is pure folly.

NASCAR has rules, For the top 3 touring series (Sprint Cup/Nationwide/Trucks). the chassis are very similar, tube-frame chassis, with the Nationwide cars having a slightly shorter wheelbase, all 3 series use 358 CI small block V8's. IIRC the Nationwide cars and Trucks use a 600 CFM 4bbl carb and the cup cars are fuel injected (previous to last season they used an 850 CFM 4bbl carb). Transmissions are 4 speed manuals with a reverse gear. Basically what I'm trying to say is your dreamobile wouldn't be allowed in NASCAR, or BTC, or V8 Supercars, or DTM series for that matter.
