lol you can keep a tampon in for up to 8 hours or until it is full (honestly though, I've left mine in for longer towards the end of my period, when it takes longer to fill.)
The string won't break. Even if it did, it is very easy to remove. Your vagina isn't a black hole. It's actually pretty shallow. Anything that you put in there, you will be able to reach with your fingers.
Remember to relax your vag muscles when removing the tampon, ESPECIALLY if the tampon is still kind of dry. take a deep breath in and then when you breath out, kind of "push" a little and slowly pull the string and it should come right out. It might be a little but painful if the tampon is still kind of dry.
Putting your first tampon in is scary. I remember being terrified when I used my first tampon. I didn't have it in far enough so i could feel it and it was uncomfortable so i went to pull it right out and i thought it was STUCK because i was stressed and my muscles weren't relaxed.
When i relaxed it came right out. Even though it was years ago, i remember that day VIVIDLY.
You shouldn't be able to feel the tampon inside of you. If you can, you need to push it in further.
You'll get used to it. Just relax. If you still don't like it after you've tried it for a while, there are always pads.
good luck, and relax : )
We have ALL been there!
You can leave tampons in for 8 hours since your scared leave it in 2 hours then put a new one in and leave it in a extra hour and so on
Don't worry. It will come out. The string is really strong so it will not break.
Don't leave it in longer than 4 hours if you have a heavy flow. Most tampon boxes say you can keep it in for about 8 hours, but that's if you have a light flow.
Good Lord. I am 46 years old and I got my period when I was 13. Thus, I have been using tampons for 33 years. Yikes. Anyway, I have never once had it not come out nor had the string "break". Depending on the type of tampon you used (super, regular, whatever) you shouldn't keep it in any longer than twelve hours maximum. I usually change mine when I wake up and then again when I go to bed.
leave it in for a few hrs you will be fine the string wont break iv used them for over ten yrs and i have never had a problem with them hope this helps
