Toshiba Laptop problem?
I have a toshiba laptop and the warranty ran out 6 months ago.I restarted this laptop and all that i get is the toshiba start up screen and then it goes black and there is only a cursor in the middle that you can move around,but it never gets past that.

If you get pass the operating system loading screen, but get stuck on a white cursor (that you can move) it could be a fault in the operating system that is preventing you loading any further.
If you get pass the operating system loading screen, but get a FROZEN white cursor with no hard drive activity, you may have faulty hardware (it could be anything - the RAM, the hard drive .etc) and you may want to consider seeking technical support. Hope this helps.
Ahh yes the vista startup death screen. Do a startup repair off disk or at F11 screen.
Most likely you have a bug that is causing that problem.
