I'm travelling to stay in a small port town close to Estepona called Sabinillas this september. unfortunately have booked a flight to alicante not realising the distance.. the place I am staying is 25 min drive from gibraltar airport so thought a train to algeciras might be a good way of getting there? i found some information online saying thers a train that takes 3hrs and costs about 40eur but when i looked on renfe it didnt appear so, also was told ALSA do a bus from alicante airport to algeciras which takes 20mins, this did not appear on the website either.

would it be easier to travel to estepona?

alternatively could change my flight to travel to malaga but would prefer the cheaper option of bus/train
