Reason is something within the entire realm called existence, or what the Greeks called "Being".
"Existence and identity are not attributes of existents, they are the existents. . . . The units of the concepts “existence” and “identity” are every entity, attribute, action, event or phenomenon (including consciousness) that exists, has ever existed or will ever exist."
It could just possibly be the other way around. Quantum mechanics tells us that the observer effects the experiment. Other theorists have suggested that the fabric of the universe is consciousness.

That of course includes the phenomenon of reason, an attribute of the thinking mind of a physical being.

So I think the jury is out on this question.
Yes.
Reasoning is of the individual's mind. Existence is Universal, infinite, eternal.
The only sense existence will have is what you make of it, otherwise existence just "IS".

--------
whenever anyone asks why they exist, the answer lies not in the future, i.e a purpose, but in the past, i.e a cause or a reason
why do we exist?
because our parents had sex.
why does mankind exist?
because of evolution.
reason lies in the past.
So reason can be subjective or . . . dual.
Make sense to whom? Lack of understanding does not preclude a logical explanation.
obviously false.
Absolutely...have you ever seen a human?
Absolutely...have you ever seen a platypus?
