I had two pet goldfish fish who decided to "live" under and behind their filter. They started to loose scales and their once beautiful fins became ripped up. Blood started trailing from them whenever they swam but they just kept "living" under the filter. They died yesterday. Does anyone know why they did this, and how to prevent it if I get more?

Was your filter too large for the tank? Or was it too strong? The water may have been pulling them there, fish who have to swim 24/7 to avoid being sucked up get very stressed and die quickly.
Maybe the filter was too strong and sucked the goldfish close to the filter. If this was happening you should have done something!
MAYBE THE FILTER WAS TOO STRONG. JUST BUY ANOTHER FILTER AND IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, THEN JUST DONT HAVE FISH.LMAO
