So I'm really interested in one of the certificates at UCLA, but I'm not really understanding the process of being accepted.
I currently attend Fullerton Community College. My grades are good and it's almost time for me to start applying for schools.
For the extension programs, do you need to be accepted through application?
I ask this because UCLA does not have my major (kinesiology, as I'm planning to go into physical therapy), but I'm really interested in taking their Film Scoring Certificate Program.
So my plan was to attend a school that does have my major (CSULB), and take UCLA extension classes on the side. But is that even an option?

There is not usually an application required for extension certificate programs; register for the classes and pay for them. Community college students can enroll in regular UCLA classes through their community college by means of Intersegmental Cross-Enrollment.
