Hi,
I am a british citizen married, living and working here in morocco and we are planning a move to the UK
Does anyone know how much money in savings would be sufficient to help support my husbands visa application? to show that we will not require any govt aid.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You must prove you have earnings in UK sufficient to support yourself, your spouse, and any existing dependents you may have. E.g. if only you & spouse, currently you must earn at least 18,600 pounds. You must also have a home for the both of you. It must be obtained on the private market, not council housing, as you cannot be receiving or have received any "benefits." If you are not currently working for a UK company & paid out of UK, being transferred back to UK at least at the current minimum salary requirement, it looks like you have to return to UK, get a job & housing, then apply for your spouse. See UKBA's website for complete details on earnings requirements.
BTW, for UK spouse visas, there's no such thing as a cosponsor, and if your hubby is earning from a job in Morocco, it's irrelevant. You alone must meet those income requirements.
