Is weight loss a side effect of lamictral? The last time I went to see the person who manages my meds, I was pushing 160 pounds and that was almost four weeks ago, and when I weighed in this morning I was about 152 or 153 (I was apparently 154 yesterday). I know your weight can fluctuate, but I don't recall my weight ever fluctuating like this, and if it did I've be right back up to 158-160 by the end of the day or two; and the last time I lost numbers "that big" was when I was 13 and working out every other day.

If it helps, I'll be starting week 4 of the starter kit in a few days. If the weight loss is just something I'm unknowingly doing then that helps, but I'm wondering if weight loss is an effect with these medications, because I heard people say from Wellbutrin (I was on this briefly before starting Lamictral) that they lost weight.
