Is it true that you see yourself as 5 times more attractive in the mirror than you actually are?
I really hope not. I get lots of compliments and stares from people, and I think that I look pretty good in the mirror...But when I take a picture, I look absolutely hideous. Well, that's not entirely true. If the picture is taken from far away and from a good angle I can look all right...But when I take a selfie (holding the camera out with my arm), I look REALLY screwed up. I'm a bigger girl, but my face looks absolutely HUGE and distorted in close up, straight on shots. My nose looks big, the shape of my face looks weird, my lips look weird etc. I feel like it looks NOTHING like me...But then I see photos of other girls taken straight on/close up and they look like their usual, gorgeous selves. UGH HELP. I really want the mirror to be more accurate. I literally look all right or like "myself" in one out of every 100 pictures.

One study showed that you see yourself more attractive in the mirror because you always stare the best part of you .It means that you eyes is beautiful, you will not care about the big mouth.
But when we take photos,it take notes of every part, whatever nice or not.
and, there's another reason :camera maybe make people fat
hope my answers can help you!
selfies are the worst pics you can take (when done that way)
but i feel your pain, i feel like i always look terrible in pictures. i find the ones i tend to look better in are pictures taken when someone else does it, whether it be planned or not.
