I have a Lenovo laptop with windows 8, which worked like a charm when I first got it, but now it acts funny.
When I have it plugged in to the charger, it runs perfectly, but as soon as the charge disconnects I lose Internet access and won't get it back unless I restart the computer and then disconnect and re-connect to wifi. It happens everywhere I go.
I looked up solutions online and they told me to go change the wireless power settings. I followed the instructions but there's no change.
Can anyone help?

The power supply should have no effect on a laptop using wireless.
This may not be the answer. If Laptop using wireless, try a Simple Fix: Open Menus, Network Connections. Click on the wireless and left click to open it's properties and check mark enable. It it has OK or Apply click this. Close the menus and reboot the laptop. Now the wireless is a permanent connection and not Limited Access.
It the issue remains, then trouble shoot for Hardware drivers and the Network equipment.

Sometimes it is a set behavior.Try pressing Fn and the key with a wifi icon on it.That should enable it again.
Try formatting your laptop. If still problem remains then there may be a problem with your laptop's wifi card. So in such case contact your customer support centre.
