I gained around 20 onds in the past 2 months.. I was eating rice, bread, and desserts all day long (long story made short...). I just decided to lose all this weight, in a healthy way, just stop overeating, no more rice, bread or sweets (or less at least) and more fruits and vegetables.... and I joined the gym. 2 weeks later, I dicsovered I am pregnant... can I continue with my "loose weight" routine? Im not really doing anything unhealthy, am I?.... I will talk to a doctor, but my appointment is 2 weeks form now, and I am just curious.... Im not starving myself, and I m taking it easy at the gym...

Its perfectly acceptable to watch what you eat and exercise while you are pregnant. There's nothing wrong with that. Just realize that now is not the time to focus on your exact weight. If you lose some weight, that's fine, but don't strive to drop 10 pounds in a month or anything like that. Just live a healthy lifestyle and things will even out. Good luck and congrats.
Yes, you can continue with your healthy eating plan. I watched a program on TV today that said that pregnant women should do no more than an hour a day of moderate exercise, so keep that in mind and talk to your doctor about it.
I wouldn't diet, I was on the same track as you an decided to just eat healthy and still don't over eat but your still gonna gain weight thru out so its a catch 22 good luck an just think after you have baby u can rock a mom body with all the goods an work it out to perfection lol hence a m.i.l.f that's my goal good luck =D
You shouldn't be dieting while pregnant, now is not the time to lose weight. It is wonderful that you want to continue eating healthy foods while pregnant but need to consume enough calories for you and the baby. Exercise during pregnancy is wonderful too but ask your doctor for guidelines. Mine said stay hydrated, don't get overheated and don't overexert yourself (keep your heart rate under 140).
If by "lose weight" you mean just eating healthy and exercising you are fine to do so. However, if you are trying to lose weight while pregnant that is never a good thing as you could hurt your baby.
Yep. Continue to eat fruits and veggies and walk on the treadmill. You can continue to workout if you were doing it before. Just be careful of those other machines besides the treadmill. And continue to stay away from the sweets.
Never loose any weight during pregnancy for the rest of the pregnancy just monitor what you eat and do little walks and if you want to do extra ask your doctor what you can do

I would call the OB you have the appt with and ask the nurse or OB if there are any exercises you should avoid at the gym.
