Im trying to find a Elite but know one has them at all where I live. I want to get a elite because it has a bigger hard drive,it has HDMI,Just in case I get a HDTV I want to have the clearest picture quality. I just dont know what to get, Ive asked people before and every answer came down to black or white, everyone said they liked the white one,but that was all the people that allready had a 360,Everyine who didnt have a 360 yet said the black one looks better,I DONT CARE ABOUT THAT !!! They both look awsome, I just dont know what to do !

well, they both look awesome because they're the same thing. except the elite is black.
xbox 360
Contains:
- Microsoft XBOX 360 console
- 20 GB Hard drive
- wireless controller
- HD AV cable
- ethernet network cable
- wired XBOX Live headset
- white faceplate
- XBOX Live Silver service
xbox 360 elite
includes a huge 120GB hard drive (the largest available for any gaming console), a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable, and a premium black finish. The Xbox 360 Elite also includes a black wireless controller and black Xbox Live® headset.
also, you can just buy the xbox 360 pro (or core) and buy the 120 gb harddrive seperate.
if i were you i would go with the elite
Xbox 360 Elite
Here's what I would do...IF you plan on downloading a ton of movies and TV shows, then go with the Elite. If you're planning on playing demo's on Live, buying the occasional Live game and saving games, then go for the Premium. Color is not a factor and it shouldn't be. Think about how you will use the hard drive...movies/tv/games or just games. I've downloaded 3hrs worth of TV shows, bought a few games off of Live and have saved games and I still have 8GB left on the hard drive, and that's the smaller drive - not the elite.
if its your first 360, go for the Premium, i personally think the Elite is overrated because its the same thing except it has more memory, which i don't need
only get the Elite if you have or are going to get an HDTV
Are you goinging to buy the HD-DVD add on to watch HD movies? If HD movies are a big deal then the HDMI output of 1080p will make a small improvment. If HD movies are not a big deal then you will find it hard to see the different in 720p and 1080p on games. I have 720p Sony LCD and it looks totally amazing. It has been 2 years with my HD TV and I'm still impressed with the 20p output of my regular XBOX360.
i have the xbox 360 pro. and just to let u no mine died and im getting a elite. so its 80$ more but its worth the $.
elite, $80 more is a little price to pay for the 120 gb hard drive, i am running out of room on my 20 gb and you can't use an external hard drive
