No you cant take any legal action...When you signed up for the account you accepted Yahoo's terms of service.....in those terms of service it states email accounts will be deactivated after a period of non use (3 months i think) ...when an email account becomes dormant/deactivated you lose everything that is in there............you can reactivate your account easily by following the prompts on the email page when you sign in.....if you do not want your account to become dormant.....make sure you use it or even just log in each week
