I recently had problems with the driver's side lock. I replaced the lock actuator and a snapped cable and thought that everything was fine. I can now lock and unlock the door no problem but the driver's side will not lock and or unlock the passengers side. But when I try locking and unlocking the door from the passenger's side it controls both side without a problem. I can not seem to find the reason why the driver's side only works for itself.

I had the same problem in a Saturn I used to own. Replace the power door lock switch. U could find one online(like partsgeek, ebay, or amazon) or at your local junkyard.
