2006 GMC Sierra Roof light problems?

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra and the roof lights keep coming on in the middle of the night. They were shutting off from turning the key on and then off, but now there staying on and i have to disconnect the battery. Any suggestions please i need help!!!!!!
