A Republican's Catch 22?

So most Republican's are against abortion.....but that would mean that if a woman would have to have every child, that means more families on welfare, which is also something Republicans hate. So it's either reluctantly legalize abortion, but not have to worry about welfare, and therefore have more money in the economy.....or....make abortion illegal, and watch as your money goes towards those families with a bunch of kids now.....

I don't understand this argument that if a mother chose to keep her child instead of abortion that she will inevitably go on welfare. Its actually quite the opposite, having children more often than not, inspires parents, mostly mothers, to do better. It wasn't till my wife and I had our first is when we became serious about going to college. So, to touch on your overall point, are you saying that, in order for the country to save money, we must keep abortion legal? That is quite sadistic. There are things much more important than money, and I can't understand the mindset of a person who thinks that money is more important than the life of a child.
