Hey, alright well, I have a low profile Acer Aspire x1700 desktop. I've had it for exactly a year now. At the time that I bought it, I really wasn't planning on using it for gaming but now I want to use it to play one or two PC games now (StarCraft 2 mainly). The problem is that my graphics card is giving me trouble. I have a nvidia geforce g100. Can anyone suggest any good graphics cards I can upgrade to? Would I also have to upgrade my PSU? I heard from somewhere that I don't have many options on PSU due to my PC's form factor. Also, would upgrading my CPU be a good idea or would I be ok? I have a intel pentium dual core e2220 2.40 GHz. I'm not really worried about my CPU, it's only my graphics card that is bugging me.
Actualizar:yeah, I have PCI express 16 slot.

Your PSU is powerful enough to upgrade your graphics card without any issues. You will need to purchase a low profile graphics card for your system. They are not difficult to find at all. Do you have an open PCI-express 16 slot. Judging from the age of your system you do. In case you do not. Here are some very good cards. all are PCI and PCI express. All will be able to handle this game without any issues. These are for all different price ranges so you can pick the best to fit your budget.

Please check the video card slots on your motherboard first to determine the slots available. It can either be Accelerated Graphics Port ( AGP ), Peripheral Component Interconnect ( PCI ) or PCIexpress. NFS requires your system to have a high-end video card as it is for demanding applications such as heavy 3D gaming and graphics.
