the dots are there cause the question needed to be longer

It was really weird it burped and this reddish orange goopy liquid comes out of my throat and i would guess there was about a quarter of a cup to a half a cup (for imperial unit users take a small teacup and about half but not a tiny one) im just wondering is that normal because my dad says its supposed to be clear and how can i avoid that having it ever again and im 15

You need to see a gastroenterologist as soon as you can. Acid reflux can cause erosion of the esophagus, ulcers, and cancer of the esophagus or stomach.
There are medications that can completely control acid reflux, commonly called GERD, but a doctor would have to prescribe them for you.
There are over-the-counter medications you can buy without a prescription, but I urge you to see a specialist and not self-medicate. Untreated or improperly-treated GERD can contribute to other diseases, such as asthma.
