American express billing question ?
I used my business American express at enterprise rent a car to put a hold on the card (same procedure as a hotel for incidentals etc). Since I plan on paying with cash or another method other than the American express I am wondering if the hold will show up on a paper bill (possibly as a charge, then a credit back to me). Although I know there are plenty of factors and it could show up a few different ways but all I am wanting to know is if the charge will show up at all on a paper bill. I have gotten online and It is a pending transaction as of now. Hopefully that covered what my question was. Thanks

i do understand you very well. I have had this holds many times on my cards but they never showup on any billing statements as they are withdrawn at check out. Its a hold so , i think it alone affects your available credit balance for further transactions and not a transaaction inof its self.
So expect that nothing will showup on your paper bill for the hold
Since a hold is a hold and not a charge, it will not show up as a charge. It will just show as pending until the hold is cleared.
