I'm in my 30's but love music from the 50's and 60's. But I only love a handful of Elvis songs. Like "That's Alright, Mama" -that song seems so magical to me. I know that some people say that that's the first rock and roll song. Elvis's songs seemed to change quickly after that. I saw a documentary one time that said Elvis changed his songs to appease a wider audience (read: white audience). That caught my attention because I had noticed that I only seemed to like the earlier Elvis songs.
