So this question is for women who have used or continue to use a menstral cup such as the Diva Cup....my doctor just suggested a menstrual cup for me due to my off periods. Ive tried using it twice and I believe its in correctly, but I feel alot of pressure inside and a slight feeling of having to p....ik alot of people say if you have a smaller vag it might be alittle harder to get use to... I was wondering if me being a larger girl has anything to do with it, or im its because im small down there! Any advice would help

Body size doesn't relate to vagina size. But the Diva may not be the best cup for you... you wouldn't be the first. It's the longest cup on the market today.
First I'd give it a day or so to make sure it's not because your body isn't used to the cup yet, and if it doesn't get better, you can try making the cup shorter by flipping it inside out.
If that makes it fit you better, you may be better off with a shorter cup.
Linked below are some pages that may help you choose the perfect cup. I hope it helps. Oh, and your doctor is way cool.
I am quite certain the weight or size of the body has anything to do with the size of you vag. My suggestion would be to try a different sup. Divas are notoriously the largest so maybe a different brand with a smaller rim. You can see size charts here: http://www.klabru.nl/sizecharts/
I LOVE my cup but I am a bit of a novice also so if you repost this question on the menstrual cup forum: http://menstrual-cups.livejournal.com/ I guarantee you will get a lot more answers and suggestions from people really experience in this.
More likely you're on the small side, either with a low cervix or just smaller jay-jay in general. Vaginas, like penises, are all unique, and Diva cups tend to be on the larger size, even the small one is rather large compared to most other brands. You might look into getting something slightly smaller, a Lunette or Ladycup, etc. Keep the Diva, since you can always use in ten years down the line when you replace your cup or after you have a kid. Or don't keep it, since I'm sure you can save up $40 in ten years to get a new one then.
I wish I had some advice for how to make it work or feel better, but I don't....I have tried to use them in the past (I used one called a Softcup) and all it did was leak, despite placing it what I think was correctly. I don't think your size makes much difference.
I've heard that they get easier to use with practice, but after having the first time be such a mess, I can't say I'm eager to try it again!
i have been wanting to try a menstrual cup,but i am kinda scared to ask my mom, even though i use tampons.
