I'm 15, very soon to be 16 and I am very interested in body piercings. I have a few and I plan on getting more and I currently have one tattoo. I'm Wondering how old you have to be to start asking around for a apprenticeship? I know I should take blood borne pathogen classes and CPR classes before I even think about asking around. I just really want to get into it, it all looks so lovely! Any details I've missed?

Not sure of where you live. The requirements do have some variance depending on location....but if you live in the US, you will have to be at least 18 in any state to begin a piercing apprenticeship. In addition to bloodborne pathogens and CPR, you will also need to be certified in basic first aid. Taking classes on anatomy are also extremely useful. Check with you local department of health for a full listing of the things that you will need to do/complete for an apprenticeship. Good luck
You probably have to be 18 to become an apprentice bcuz of nips and genitals. But if you take the blood classes and get in tight with a tat artist you could probably hang out in the shop and watch.
Just tell them that you would love to learn how to do this and if they are currently accepting apprentices
yes
