Don't get back with that asshole. If he dumped you to be with your best friend, then now he is just using you, I don't know for what because obviously he doesn't like you enough to 1) stay with you and 2) not ask your friend out. Obviously this guy is a player and I understand it is hard to get over him, but you should never let someone stomp all over you like a welcome mat.
