they are actually very similar. Krav Maga is basically mma with weapons and eye gouging. I actually think Krav Maga is beter for self defence but both will hold there own.
Krav Maga is a self-defense art that considers a no-quarter situation, utilizing anything that's available such as weapons. Krav maga is not a sport, it's a system.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art that emphasizes heavily on ground grappling, it's got boundaries, and rules.
It's apples and oranges, both are for different uses.
Krav Maga is for real life. For it trains you to take a person out by any means necessary. For example eye gouging, kicking and kneeing to the groin, using weapons or what ever object you can pick up. Krav Maga isn't a sport.
BJJ is a sport. Designed with rules that emphasizes throws and submission moves and striking to a down opponent. Being that BJJ and Judo are the same thing, only there is no striking in Judo, you can use BJJ throws in a real life situation along with some the strikes they teach. However you wouldn't want to get on the ground and do an armbar or kimura in a real life situation.
the difference is kravmage trains you to just take some1 out in a burst of moves , for example in a self defense situation sum1 grabs you and in kravmaga they use it to take a person out of comition , and in brazilian jiu jitsu you work stuff such as takeing sum1 down and putting them in an arm bar . so there both very effective martial arts , but krav maga is krazier
I agree with J and Jim R. On top of that, please learn how to spell. And learn some grammar, too. And learn some logic. To translate that last sentence: "Which is better? I know there's no better here, but something has to give." Brazilian jiu jitsu is "the most deadly martial art"? Not even close. Finally, it's difficult to take anyone who mentions Bruce Lee seriously. He was in a series of truly awful movies. That's his claim to fame. Hope that clarifies a few things for you.
