built into a police report?
What does being built into a police report mean? I had to call a police station in another state for a suspected suicide attempt and I gave my information and now do not want any of it to be available to the family to know I called. The officer said I wouldn't be built into the report but the family wouldn't be able to get my information if they asked for a copy of the report. Does that mean I'm safe from anyone knowing who I am and where I live?

It should not matter to you at all. What you did was the right thing to do, NO MATTER WHAT. Your involvement may have saved a life.
If they found out it was you, the family of the person whose life you saved will be grateful. The person whose life you saved may be mad at you until they get better. Then, they will be glad that you intervened and saved their life.
If I were you, just be proud that you saved a life, and don't worry about anything else.
