I started a new job and i was training and on the 4th day they decided to let me go. In the interview she said "the training is paid" I never signed any paper work but she put me in the computer with my social and i would clock in and clock out every day. I worked very hard the 4 days i was there and did a lot of labor. When they decided to let me go she sent me a text saying " I don't think you are comfortable with this job and i just don't think you are what we are looking for and i can't give you the hours you need so lets end this as of tonight good luck in your future goodbye"
I need to know if they have any plans on paying me for the work that i did do and how long they have to pay me. I live in California and i know different states have different laws. Do you know how long they have to pay me since i live in California? If they don't pay me within the days they have what can i do?

As far as the law says, they can let you go at any time because California is a "at-will" employment state.
The only thing you are eligible is your last paycheck.
Contact the company back and ask for it. If they refuse, contact California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standard Enforcement.

The company has 72 hours to pay you http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/FAQ_Paydays.htm. Also, if you are not paid you can file a wage claim http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/HowToFileWageCLaim.htm
