For Trap shooting I would recommend you look at a shotgun with a vent rib barrel with screw in chokes.
Remington makes the excellent model 870 Express with a 28" vent rib barrel and screw in choke tube. Mossberg offers a similar set up model 500. Either would be excellent choices to use for what you described.
Whatever you do, I would definitely go with screw in choke tubes and the vent rib barrel.
I your looking for an all around shotgun then a Winchester 12 ga. will fill the billet. I personally like the pump because of the no jam factor. buck it's really up to the buyer. The best thing about the Winchester is that it's a great shotgun for a reasonable price. The biggest plus is their like a Harley Davidson the go up in value. These are the things that make a good gun and Winchester has what your looking for!
I use a Mossberg 500 tactical 12 guage pump. I love it.
It can take 2 3/4" or 3" shells so you have lots of options for ammo depending on what you are shooting at. I usually shoot trap, not big on hunting, but it would perform in that role with no problem.
if your looking for quality then i recommend benelli vinci. I have a benelli tactical model and i love it accurate, fast, and reliable. They are pricey but if you use it a lot then its worth the price.

Remington 11-87 Special Purpose Field
Its heavier than a trap gun but robust for pheasant and duck. Its semiauto for fast shots.
Otherwise I would say a reasonably priced over under. Browning is high end but good. You could get away with a CZ Redhead though.
