Central America - Records Help!?
Hello. I have no idea if this is even possible but thought it was worth a try.
I am dating a man from Central America. He's been in the states for 5 years.. I've heard rumors through his friends & roommates that he has a wife back home. I know he has a child but thougth it was just with a girlfriend. I've asked him about it, but he insists he isn't married to anyone.
Is there anyway to verify this? Search public records in El Salvador? I don't want to be the other women..

There are no public records search services in El Salvador like you are looking for. You would have to hire someone to search the records for you. Many of the systems are antiquated and are not automated, and many records were lost or destroyed during the Civil War years of the 1980s. Perhaps you can locate a reputable private investigator through the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador.
I don't know, but I'm sure El Salvador keeps public records call the embassy and see.
But maybe they weren't married and just living together and if that's the care then you're still the other woman. It might be true because why would his roomates just make that up.
My cousins uncle did that though. He left his live-in girlfriend pregnant and came to U.S. to make money and he ended up getting with another girl. He's been here for 10 years now and has never even met his son.
You just have to ask him though. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship and if you can't trust him well then it isn't going to work out anyways.
i would believe his friends. ive heard of many men doing this. they come here to make money for their families back home and end up dumping them for a new woman. there's a big percentage of gangsters in el salvador, very crowded country as well. Is he illegally here? if he is, there must be a bad reason why he came illegally.
dont be the woman who took him away from his family... thats just sad
