computer self destruct?
at school some boys were messing about they switched a small square red button on the back there was a huge bang soot came out the back and there was smoke and it stank. Was that a self destruct button or what?

It called high voltag ... Replace the power suply
No, that is a voltage switch and they switched it over to a higher voltage and it Fried the power supply and may have damaged the computer.
appears like they have been messing with the voltage turn on the back of the flexibility grant. maximum power supplys have this swap shielded to keep away from such issues from occurring.
