I am 26 years old and never once in my life had an issue with foul odors down there.. Although a few months back I had a sexual experience with another woman. She smelled very strongly of fish and since that interaction with her., I have begun to smell like fish no matter what I do. I researched and thought maybe I contracted bacterial vaginosis. I went to the ER and they treated me for a yeast infection where I took a single dose pill. The smell has persisted. Could my PH Balance have changed due to being in contact with this woman?

Diet, stress, wearing underwear that don't let air circulate (non-cotton), certain medications and diseases, infections can cause bad odors in that region. But a change in vaginal PH balance from one lesbian experience? No. I would advise you to have a complete exam to rule out other causes such as trichomonas vaginalis which has a distinctive fishy odor. To treat a trich infection both partners need to take oral medication to keep from reinfecting each other.
no.
less-than-clean hands could result in yeast bloom. I don't care for the 1 pill method of yeast bloom. I always recommend the 3 day course.
That fishy smell comes from dead and dying sperms left inside women by men. If you haven't had sex with men, then you don't have that. Go back to your health practitioner.
And don't go to the ER. This is not an emergency. Go to the county health dept or Planned Parenthood. The ER is for actual emergencies. They don't give the best care in non-emergency situations.
