I have a desktop Dell, bought under a year ago. It is an XPS-300, windows 7, x64-based PC. I am running the intel core i7-2600 processor. The computer has worked perfectly well up until literally the other day. It randomly started to freeze up and causes my entire computer to lockup, and I keep having to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete and waiting long amounts of time for the screen to unfreeze and stop loading. It keeps happening and it's becoming really frustrating. Any advice?

You need to run a virus scan and defrag it, also if you have high memory usage y having maybe too many things on your hard drive or just too many programs running simultaneously it could freeze it up
Sounds like 2 programs are trying to use the same memory location cause the computer to freeze.
Solution: try to recall which was the last program you install and uninstall it. if any program don't support windows delete, that my be the problem 2.
Just format C drive and install a fresh copy of windows. PC will be OK. Best of Luck!
