I received a sign in alert email from yahoo telling me that they had detected a login attempt with valid password from an unrecognised device and that to protect myself from any future compromise I should click onto one of the links below ie change password link and update my account password reset info. what I want to know is did yahoo sent me this email with these links included or is this a email from an intruder trying to get me to change my password so they can get access to my account
Update:Oh silly me I used the link that I thought was sent from yahoo to change my password, what should I do now?

Never click on a link that gets sent to you as that is usually a scam. The link for password change on Yahoo is,http://edit.yahoo.com/config/change_pw
They send those a lot actually. But I think what's triggering it is false. I signed in on one, then the email I have connected to it ... got a message that there was an attempt. That attempt was me, and I got in.
