My heart says yes i would love to see him back, but on the other hand my head says no, i think at his age now if he comes back and goes in against the best which would be the only fights he is interested in i can see him getting beat quite badly by some of the younger fighters, which i really wouldnt want to see as he is one of my alltime favouries.
Unlike Blogbaba i believe if Tito did come out of retirement there would be a whole host of opponents getting in line to get in with him, i think Tito would be looking for Hopkins, Taylor or Winky but i think the one fight that both fighters and the rest of the world would want is the rematch between Felix and Oscar, this would be unbelievable if it ever happened and the figures as far as ppv would be astronomical especially after Oscar whips Mayweathers backside on May 5th.
So to answer your question Yes i would love him to come back but i really hope if he does he picks the right opponents and dont get hurt.
If Felix returned, who is there for him? Odds are Jermane Taylor would be an option. Remember he fought Hopkins at about 160, and weight is a problem the older you get, I can't see Trinidad lower than middleweight. Tito is always a welcome site to a real boxing fan, but really, what fights are left out there for him?
I agree with Frank. Trinidad has been one of my favorites and I would love to see him fight a couple of more times. I just don't think that he can still take on an elite quality of opposition. What's the use of seeing him fight again if he's not the same anymore? He might even wind up being hurt.
